Amazon Robotics Deployment Engineer Intern
This role is a 10 week internship starting in the summer of 2019.

Job Overview
As a Deployment Engineer Intern, you will collaborate with a talented team and dive into challenging technical problems to meet tight deadlines. This job requires a unique combination of flexibility, creativity, innovation, leadership, and effective communication. You will travel extensively (~85%) to locations in North America. Additionally, you will dive into Standard Work and Continuous Improvement through an intern project.

Key Responsibilities:
· Owning, deep diving for data to support a recommendation, and driving resolution for a technical intern engineering project
· Seeking out information and data among cross-functional organizations both internal (hardware, software, quality, safety, etc.) and external (service providers, carriers, vendors) and working with those groups to arrive at either a recommendation or resolution to your individual project
· Influencing and communicating with on-site vendors through their assignments and enforcing project schedules and quality with vendors and subcontractors.
· Developing system knowledge of the Amazon Robotic system and fulfillment center operations with knowledge of day-to-day workings and strategic planning
· Traveling significantly to support Amazon's fulfillment center locations based within the continental United States, as well as the Seattle Engineering Headquarters.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· · Currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in business, operations, supply chain, or related field with an expected conferral date between December 2019 and June 2020
