PTC Creo Mechanical Designer – Toronto, ON Canada M/F
Job Description
To join our team of consultants in the transportation sector based in Montreal, QC and Toronto, ON, we are looking for motivated and dynamic consultants with experience in Mechanical Design of avionics systems for the transportation industry. They will play a challenging role and be key players in the success of our clients’ projects.
As a Mechanical Designer you will support our clients by:
Offer expert consultancy services with strong added value in the development, design and delivery of engineering solutions to existing and new clients related to the transportation industry;
Contribute to Amaris growth in the transportation sector in Canada and abroad;
Analyze customer technical specifications in terms of mechanical engineering principles and technology requirements;
Interact with internal and external multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and achieve project objectives in a timely manner;
Act as a mentor to team-members;
Ensure technical communication with stakeholders across different level of management;
Measure and improve project quality and performance (KPI);
Follow-up project progress.
Profil:
Background in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor, Master…) or other relevant studies;
Strong adaptability capacity with new technology;
Efficient with PTC Creo 2.0 (best) or 3.0 (CAD design) and PTC Windchill (PLM);
Knowledge of DOORS, JIRA;
Pragmatic person, efficient in design.
Proven leadership and ability to manage resources and prioritize tasks;
Ability to work in an international and dynamic environment;
Autonomous, sense of initiative and detail oriented;
Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
Mobile, willing to relocate punctually or travel in Canada or the US;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, French is an asset.
