Poste et missions:
As an embedded system engineer you will support our clients by:
- Offer expert consultancy services with strong added value in the development, validation and testing of embedded software systems across different sectors related to the transportation industry;
- Contribute to Amaris growth in the transportation sector in Canada and abroad;
- Analyse technical specifications and functional requirements of the client as well as regulations in order to incorporate them into the product design;
- Develop (specify, design, code) custom embedded software solutions;
- Contribute to the implementation and review of testing processes and procedures;
- Produce quality engineering documentation on our design and code;
- Interact with internal and external multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and achieve project objectives in a prompt manner;
- Ensure technical communication with stakeholders across different level of management;
- Follow-up KPIs and project progress.
Profil:
- Bachelor degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or other relevant studies;
- At least 3 years of experience in embedded systems environment for industrial application;
- Good understanding of embedded system development principles from a hardware and or software perspective
- Experience in system specification definition, design and testing;
- At least 2 years of experience with C, C++, and Java programming languages
- Experience in Agile development environment is an asset;
- Ability to work in an international and dynamic environment;
- Autonomous, sense of initiative and detail oriented;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Mobile, willing to relocate punctually or travel in Canada or the US;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, French is an asset.
