Summary of the Role

Administration of user accounts, access control lists and privileges of Amadeus
employees or contractors (Group wide including ACOs) accessing internal
services or production services to perform their duties as well as the
maintenance of security objects like digital keys, tokens and digital
certificates to support the security features of Amadeus infrastructure
/systems /applications and services. Development of the relevant procedures
and workflows based on Policies and Standards set up by the Security Office.

Main Responsibilities

· Perform general Security Administration tasks on all supported platforms
requested via approved Workflow Processes.
· Maintain an up to date repository of all relevant security objects and a
history of the performed administration tasks for audit purposes.
· Initiate and coordinate regular reviews of access rights and privileges on the
supported platforms.
· Provide support to customers relating to security administration issues.
· Solve or escalate PTR's or IR's concerning security administration and provide
permanent solutions to avoid the problems reoccurring.
· Develop and maintain procedures for security administration based on defined Security Processes, Standards and Policies including the customization of the required tools.
· Assist in the evaluation of new security products and procedures.

Technical Skills

· Expert knowledge of security threads/risks incl their mitigations as
· Virus, Trojans, Worms, rootkits, etc.
· Attacking techniques
· Social engineering
· Good Knowledge of relevant securty methods in
· Cryptography
· Access control
· Protocols
· Good knowledge of operating system, network, database and middleware technologies and architectures
· Good knowledge about a high availble, high transaction computer center
· Good knowledge of Internet protocols, and applications
· Good understanding of security and audit standards
(e.g. ISO17799, ITSEC, PCI/DSS, ISO27000, COBIT, SSAE, etc.)
· Basic understandig in writing security procedures
· Knowledge of the airline business is a plus

Education and Years of Experience

University degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent

Relevant Job Experience

· Minimum 3 years in an Operations Support role
