Team Description

The Solution Data Science team is responsible for developping solution that take into account the data science techniques of actors in travel industry, including airlines. This includes statistical analytic, knowledge discovery, data mining, and machine learning using the airlines data generated by Amadeus, by Airlines itself, and by the industry in general. The team works together with Research and Development to deliver complete solution of data science based on Amadeus Travel Intelligence products.

Main Responsibilities

Travel industry as many other system in the modern world generates infinite amounts of data at a very fast rate. Amadeus Travel Intelligence strives to present large datasets to its customers, be they individual humans with a need for aggregation or robotic processes with a need for reactivity and flexibility.

The goal of the internship is to explore expanding the spectrum of Travel Intelligence’s modes of consumption to a vocal interface.

The intern will participate in the following :

·  Survey the available frameworks and assess its development and deployment model. Amazon Alexa Skills Kit is suggested as a starting trail, but is in no way the sole possible direction.
·  Connection to a specific common query to the Amadeus Travel Intelligence platform.
·  Validation and performance estimation.

If time permits, the intern may subsequently address one or more follow-ups:

·  Connection to visual business report control
·  Connection to production monitoring systems
·  Data collection based on connector usage
·  Alternatives to voice, motion, haptics etc.
·  Suggestions of their own

Desired profile

Requirements

·  Human: motivation, self-learning abilities
·  Computer: high-level and low-level language programming.
·  Distinguishers: fluency in charting libraries (for visual follow-ups) or embedded/robotic/IoT (for haptic follow-ups)
