Team Description

We are always looking to improve the quality of our products and services delivered to our customers. With this in mind, the Amadeus Rail department wants to prototype new QA tools to ease the Daily jobs of our QA validation engineers.

Main Responsibilities

The trainee will participate in designing and implementing several new QA tools.

Curiosity/Innovative ideas and a wish to develop Dev skills inside a QA environment is what we are looking for.

-----------------  QA toolbox description: ------------------

- Build KPIs graphs to qualify a release ( the trainee will work on the full process of a tool creation: from the requirement definition/Design/Implementation/validation and document the solution)

- Scheduler implementation to run ALM/ Quality Center tester including a mail notifier.

- ALM/ Quality Center Dashboard to display relevant QA information (like Top 10 Killers scenarios/Business requirements not covered…)

- Set-up Sentinel graphs to monitor production activities (ratio error messages versus Transactions)

- Test and improve the JIRA and Defect connector + its integration into the current QA processes.

- Automate the patches (Gather PTRs to be patched, Follow their status, Report on patches)

- Regression Dashboard improvement when running our regression scenarios.

- Creation of scripts to secure the configuration (after a Capture/Restore event)

- The dev language of the tools is mainly Java but can be other ones (like Python, #C, .vb…)
