Summary of the role
Amadeus North America is seeking a paid intern for the Voice & Video Unified Communications department to gain skills necessary to participate in a global audio visual communication service with particular focus on usage & adoption programmes, communication campaigns, budget/administrative tasks and VIP conferences.
Main responsibilities
Assist with an Audio Visual Communication Usage & Adoption Programme by identifying barriers that prevent potential users from using the service and existing ones from making further use of it. Assist to develop and implement strategies to grow utilization of Audio Visual tools including service & process changes, training, documentation and user communication. Track metrics to gauge effectiveness of Usage & Adoption campaigns. Assist in the collection of demands for future new audio visual systems and changes to existing setups. Translate and consolidate as financial inputs for future financial periods.
• Work internally and with vendors to create short How To videos to help users understand and learn how to organize, run and partcipate in audio visual conferences.
• Work internally with vendors to create and modify user documentation of new and existing solutions.
• Brainstorm & develop strategies with others for how to improve usage & adoption of Audio Visual communication tools.
• Assist with concept and design of multimedia materials to support Audio Visual Communication services – if you have graphic design skills or HTML knowledge, this is a plus!
• Suggest improvements, generate new ideas and areas of exploration that help meet our department goals and service objectives.
• Monitor and Respond to e-mails as directed.
• Assist with content creation, targeting and publication utilizing internal Amadeus tools.
• Update internal and external Web sites
• Research on collaboration tools & solutions.
• Various other activities as assigned
Desired profile
Requirements
Must have completed or be enrolled at a university seeking a B.A. / B.S. degree (prefer a Computer Science, Telecomunication Technology or Audiovisual Communications related degree)
Travel or technology industry knowledge a plus
Computing
Advanced PC skills such as MS-Office suite ,computer and internet knowledgeable. Project management software and tools knowledge a plus.
Languages
Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
Specific knowledge
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices a plus
Other
Comfortable with Systems / Technology a must
