Summary of the role

The Business Analyst – Product Management will work with existing and prospective customers, Navitaire personnel, and industry organizations to deliver solid, successful and innovative products and solutions that support customer business objectives.

Main responsibilities

• Document and clarify business requirements and produce detailed use cases for new product features
• Perform business and systems analysis for new product initiatives
• Complete product validation testing of new functionality
• Provide product support for industry codeshare, interline, Global Distribution Systems (GDSs), and E-Ticketing solutions.
• Support sales pursuits involving existing and prospective customers
• Provide ongoing assistance to Navitaire Development, Implementation, Quality Assurance, and Global Customer Support Teams
• SME GDS, Codeshare, and Interline functionality

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 1 year experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) or Airline industry

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience writing business requirements and use cases
• Functional knowledge of GDS, codeshare, and interline processes
• Basic familiarity with interline e-ticket (IET) and EMD concepts
• Previous travel agency, OTA, airline or GDS work experience
• Prior BA or QA work experience in IT industry
