I. Summary of the role

Amadeus Revenue Integrity (ARI) requires a Data Analyst in order to support and help evolve the Revenue Integrity Consulting offering. The Data Analyst will be required to perform ad-hoc analysis/queries on Terabyte sized relational (SQL Server) and semi-structured data sets in the support of requests from the ARI Consulting team as well as from the airline customers. While completing these requests, the Data Analyst will be tasked with identifying repeatable, value-add analyses to be incorporated in a standard set of data tools that ARI Consultants have available for Revenue Integrity consulting engagements. This includes the evolving and maintaining analysis provided in ARI’s standard Solution Review as well as the Revenue Integrity Value Calculation, both of which are key to ARI’s strategy. The Data Analyst will also be involved in the design of KPI and Data Visualization requirements for the ARI Product Suite as well as supporting executive KPIs and Dashboards.

II. Main responsibilities

· Provide data analysis support to Revenue Integrity Leadership Team along with Solution, Delivery and Consulting Teams including ad-hoc and project analysis of Terabyte sized relational and semi-structured data sets.
· Identify, create and maintain a set of repeatable, value-add data analyses, queries and reports to be incorporated in a standard set of data tools that ARI customers, leaders, customer facing product managers, solution managers and consultants have available for Revenue Integrity customer engagements.
· Support, maintain, and evolve key ARI data analyses, most notably ARI’s Solution Review and the Revenue Integrity Value Calculation
· Collaborate in the design of requirements for KPIs and Data Visualizations in the ARI Product Suite.
· Assist in analysis of internal metrics for leadership dashboards and process improvement

III. Qualifications/ Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Business Analysis

Relevant Work Experience:

· Minimum 2 years experience in data analysis, airline revenue management or revenue analysis, software engineer, or similar with a focus on translating business requirements and KPIs into measureable data reporting and analysis.
· Prior work experience with data analysis in the travel industry, Amadeus portfolio of products, and Revenue Integrity preferred.
· A Master's degree in a relevant field is acceptable in lieu of work experience.

Business Understanding:

· Strong knowledge of business requirements and pertinent KPIs, data visualization, statistics, and data analysis techniques required.
· Knowledge of Commercial Airline Business, specifically concepts of Revenue Management and Revenue Integrity preferred.
· Former experience with an airline, Amadeus or similar a plus and experience w/RI tools/systems and R&D tracking tools preferred.

IV. Skills and Requirements

Computing: Required

Languages: Expected excellent written and spoken English required, additional languages preferred

Specific Knowledge:

· Advanced knowledge of data visualization, statistics, and data analysis techniques
· Strong SQL skills with experience querying large data sets
· Ability to extract data from semi-structured data sources
· Competency in one or more programming/scripting languages
· Experience in Tableau or Qlik a plus
· Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark a plus

Physical demands of the role: Expected to travel as needed.

Other: Expected to be present at ARI's Tucson, Arizona location during standard working time/days.
