Role Description:
The Automation-DevOps Engineer will specialize in the creation and maintenance of automation scripts using the Visual Studio platform (C#). This would entail the design, scripting, testing, execution and maintenance of automation scripts. This position will be collaborating with Development and QA teams to understand automation script and script execution requirements. The role will also support the automated testing needs of the company’s Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) process.

Key Responsibilities:

· Participate in automation scripting of major functionalities of product assigned. Efforts will include design, scripting, testing and execution of automation scripts.
· Participate in maintenance of automation scripts for repeatable use.
· Collaborate with QA to ensureclearunderstanding of requirements that needs to be translated to automation scripts.
· Ability to produce high-quality automation scripts, performing due diligence to get things accomplished right the first time.
· Work closely with Development/QA/Testing Services teams to ensure on-time delivery of automation execution requests.
· Document lessons learned for the team’s use.
· Identify process or script improvements for the team.
· Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Candidate must possess a University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar discipline

·
Experience or knowledge in programming using VB, VBScript, C#, or Java.

·
At least 1 year of automation script development using C#, utilizing automation frameworks like MS UI Automation, Selenium WebDriver, Xamarin.UITest.

· Knowledge or exposure to automation software such Visual Studio UI Automation/Coded UI is a plus.
· Exposure to product functionalities currently being supported by the automation team such as but not limited to New Skies, Travel Commerce, SkyPay and SkyPrice is preferred.
· Knowledge of test case creation or execution.
· Proven ability to analyze and solve problems effectively and quickly.
· Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and commit/deliver under strict timelines. Good verbal and written communication skills and can work collaboratively with other teams.
