Internship - Fullstack (Angular, Node.js , MongoDB) developer for internal application web portal

Purpose of the role

The AirPlatform is a portal that allows employees to create their own homepage from a set of existing widgets. The widgets can be developed by other Amadeus employees and published following an Open Source model so that they can be used by everyone.

The purpose of this internship is to work in the AirMap application by developing new features, fixing problems and rolling out the application in different Amadeus sites.

Main Responsibilities

Development of new features

- Collect feedback from users, UX engineers and developers in order to define new features.

- Develop new features and roll them out to users.

Deployment of the application in new sites

- The application is currently only available in London offices, other sites need to be added with their specific needs.

Maintenance of current application

- Detect and correct bugs on the existing application.

- Support users with problems with the application.

Job Holder Profile

Education – Undertaking an Engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Relevant work experience – Experience with web development. Experience with maps is a plus.

Skills

Computing - HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular.
