Summary of the role
Join our fast-paced team of international experts in Berlin and support our ambitious expansion plans as DevOps Engineer (f/m).
What you’ll do:
· Work closely with the best engineers in a Continuous Deployment workflow
· Automate scaling, maintenance and configuration of our cloud infrastructure running on AWS / Google Cloud
· Create and maintain tools to enable flawless Continuous Integration and Deployment
· Enable and push for monitoring on all levels - from applications metrics to world wide performance monitoring
· You will be working on a multi-datacenter setup using the latest technologies including AWS / Google Cloud, Mesos, Kubernetes or similar, Ansible, Docker, ELK, Prometheus, Aerospike and Kafka just to name a few
Who we are looking for:
· 2+ years professional experience with Linux
· Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef or Puppet
· Understanding of distributed systems including cluster managers, decentralised logging and message queues
· Experience managing alerting and monitoring systems
· Experience with scripting languages like Ruby, Python, BASH
· Experience with network engineering and strong knowledge of IPv4
· You like to work and communicate in a team. You are fluent in English
· German is a plus, but not a requirement
· Learning is your lifestyle and being proactive is your philosophy
· Knowledge of AWS is a plus
