Purpose:
The core activities are in are making changes that affect the airline pricing system for the entire global customer base. Provides product expertise to improve operational activities, influence contact deflection and ensure that current functionalities will be in line with customer expectations by participating on the design of solutions with R&D. They will be expected to act as a consultant to advise on best practices for filing and to lead workshops on specific areas of fares data filing, as specified by the customers, customer product activations, data updates in production, operational support to implementations, data monitoring, investigations of IR/PTRs and solution findings through data correction, escalation & follow-up. Pricing Analysis is the third level escalation point for faring, currency, service fees and transportation taxation related issues and fares products, including but not limited to, international fare construction, airline Debit Memo Research, and host pricing applications.
The Analyst must possess intricate knowledge of fare construction, domestic and international fare rules, the ATPCO (Airline Tariff Publishing Company) encoded rule product, airline ticket pricing criteria, international tax application and laws, exchanges, FareXpert, and Edifact messages. He/She is a resource to airlines tariff departments for investigation of filing related errors, advising the proper fares/rules filing coding/methodology, and Anglicizing the encoded rules product from ATPCO to determine if the coding is correct and matches the filing criteria.
Job Duties:
· Ensure correct & appropriate Data is received from Customers & Providers as defined by SLA
· Ensure total integrity of product-related Database according to products and customer segment
· Provide Quality Analysis , Quality Checks & monitoring on product Implementation project
· Become product expert in a specific area to provide resolution on complex incidents escalated by the Service Management Center
Education: Bachelor degree preferred
Relevant Work Experience: Minimum 3 years in the Service Management center or 3 years airline/ travel agency experience particularly on fare quote, reservation or ticketing.
Business Understanding: Good understanding of airlines/GDS environment or Airline Tariffs and ticketing.
Skills:
Computing: Advanced Excel and programming knowledge will be well appreciated
Languages: English is mandatory. Other languages will be taken into consideration.
Specific Knowledge: knowledge on Amadeus products and solutions, Incident management, Problem management, Service request management.
Other: Good analytical, problem solving, notions on project management.
