DESCRIPTION

The Assistant Product Owner is assisting the Product Owner and will be actively involved in the organization process of software development, maintaining communication with the developers and different teams.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE

Education

· Bachelor degree or equivalent practical experience

Knowledge, Skills

· Able to understand complex business requirements, transferring them into clear instruction for both technical and non-technical audiences
· Understanding of modern technology, its working and advances
· Taking ownership, with the Product Owner, of the end result of each Sprint and ensuring success, through a focus on SCRUM objectives
· Personable, confident and hardworking, with excellent organizational and communication skills
· Business savvy
· Attention to detail
· Determined self-starter as well a fast learner
· Capable of dealing with high pressure situations

Experience

· At least 2 years’ experience in similar position
· Experience with SCRUM methodologies of development

ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES

· Working across all areas of the business to identify and clarify ideas for product enhancement
· Helping the Product Owner evaluate the business value of product enhancements
· Liaising with stakeholders including sponsors, customers, partners and the projects team
· Providing pre-sales support to the sales team through comprehensive product knowledge and excellent awareness of what is possible
· Secondary main point of contact for key customer and partner relationships
· Championing new feature enhancements to the business
· Supporting SCRUM ceremonies, both organising and documenting where necessary

Writing user stories, follow all the changes in the backlog
