VIE - Cost Controller AES Middle East

Job description

We are recruiting a VIE contract for a Cost Controller position at our site in Abu Dhabi.

Key partner in optimizing the company's financial performance, he is responsible for analyzing financial indicators, monitoring the evolution of sales, margins and stocks, and supporting the operational teams in strategic decision-making.

Main Missions
• Ensure monthly preparation of closings, group reporting and results presentations
• Analysis of gaps between forecasts and actuals, identification of causes and proposal of corrective actions.
• Drive budgets and forecasts.
• Contribution to the improvement of control processes and acceleration of closings.
• Support to operational teams in interpreting results and optimizing performance.
• Support the cash collection process and cash flow forecast.
• Manage interaction with external accounting firm

Desired profile

Required Skills
• Excellent knowledge on reporting and analysis tools (advanced Excel, Power BI, ERP, etc.).
• Solid understanding of financial and accounting mechanisms.
• Good knowledge of industrial service sector.
• Strong skills in financial modeling and business plan development.
• Ability to analyze and synthesize to interpret data and propose strategic recommendations.
• Good interpersonal skills to interact with operational teams and management.
• Rigor and attention to detail to ensure the reliability of analyses.
• Good knowledge on general accounting
• English required (working language)

Training and Experience
• Degree in management, finance, accounting or equivalent (Bac+5, business school or university).
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in management control, ideally in a industrial service environment.
