YOUR ROLE
As a Supply Chain Consultant, you will support our clients on the optimization of the logistics flow to insure production capacity and quality in all relevant phases of the manufacturing process.
You will be responsible for:
- Implementation of a Supply and Demand review ensuring internal stakeholders have visibility on delivery schedules, demand & forecast analysis and are kept up to date from a commercial standpoint.
- Working closely with production to optimize manufacturing planning via MRP to meet variances in customer demand
- Generate transport and inventory cost reduction
- Use your technical skills and field experiences to bridge the gap between strategy and operations
- Streamlining and supporting processes in collaboration with the Logistics department
- Analyzing current qualitative and quantitative situations, pointing out (short term/long term) supply issues, offering innovative recommendations and supporting with implementation
- Working together in a multidisciplinary team with the Procurement, Logistics, Planning, Operations, Finance and QA team
YOUR PROFILE
- Master’s degree in Engineering/Logistics or a related domain
- 1-2 years experience in Logistics, Customer Service or Supply Chain Management
- Ability to work in proficient Dutch or French and English
- Result-oriented flexible person combined with outstanding analytical and communication skills
- Experience in Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical Industry is a plus
- APICS Certification is a plus
