He should be able to do following activities:

·  Define / Validate the Software V&V plan, configuration management plan, requirements specifications, architecture and interface specifications considering safety constraints.
·  Defines technical choices for SW Testing:
·  Selects SW testing Tools, Methodology, strictly following internal process/methods & tools recommendations
·  Defines / Validates the simulator requirements / environment in line with process/methods and tools
·  Organizes the software Reviews
·  Applies SW processes & standards required for SW testing – Modal, CMMI
·  Coach and mentor the team of Software Leads / testers in terms of choice of technology, design & commitments to achieve the QCD
·  Prepare project estimation, planning, schedule and track/monitor the status of the project every week using MS-project and or equivalent tool.
·  Identify the risks during different phases of the SW life cycle ( estimation, design, testing and etc..)
·  Interface with the external architects to capture the requirements and implement the design accordingly.
·  Contribute to the elaboration of SW specification & architecture, in collaboration with the SW module leaders and HW architect
·  Contributes to continuous improvement (ROE, process, …)
·  Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with the ability to interact with other team members within the organization.
·  Drive the team and takes ownership of V&V of Software applications.
·  Responsible for on-time delivery of projects
·  Ensure adherence to standards and software quality
·  Coordinate with other system owners and leads
·  Contribute to deployment and rollout plans as needed
·  Lead the Team of Lead Engineers, Software testers and Software support engineers
·  Perform peer reviews and provide feedback
·  Shall be able to challenge the main solutions/requirements
·  Exhaustively documents tasks results and justifies technical choices
·  Contributes to team success (on a site or multi-sites basis)
·  Keeps informed of the evolution of technologies through techno watch
·  Keeps a strong link with the Product & HW architects, with RAMS, Development team and quality departments, through the whole SW development cycle
·  Applies and ensures application of processes and standards
·  Ensures the traceability of the software requirements through the development cycle
·  Contributes to the CCB for SW part
·  Alerts the reporting structure for any event that could impact SW development QCD commitments
·  Establishes the consolidated reporting on his WP
