Purpose of the Job

The TMS Application Design Engineer is responsible for the TMS application design in the scope of standalone or platform level projects. The work involves design of Scheme plan using AutoCAD or similar tools.

Responsibilities

The TMS Application Design Engineer is responsible for TMS Application Design:

·  TMS Server Configuration;
·  TMS HMI Configuration;
·  TMS Data Test and Validation;

The activity is supported by the following tools:

·  TMS Configuration Suite
·  TMS Simulator

Technical Knowledge / Experience

·  Basic Information Technology skills:
·  basic computer programming knowledge (e.g: VBA)
·  programming with boolean logic operators
·  knowledge of the XML, XSD
·  knowledge of SQL
·  AutoCADTM or similar CADs software (AePlan will be used as tools of the TMS Suite) (Must)
·  Basic knowledge of Signalling Principle and Rules (capability to read a track layout, a schematic plan, the control/indication table); (Must)
·  Basic Knowledge of Traffic Supervision and Regulation Principle; (Must)
·  Basic knowledge of TMS Mainline product functions;
·  Full Knowledge of TMS Configuration Suite tools;
·  Use of TMS TMS Simulator;
·  English language.
