The DK Signaling projects will carry out the renewal of 800 trains with the ERTM technology with numerous classes of trains (passenger trains, freight trains, works trains) and the development & deployment of the trackside ERTM level 2 technology on the East part of the country. In parallel there is an increasing need to support tenders in the Nordic countries.

We are looking for a Test & Commissioning Engineer

Alstom is currently looking for a Test & Commissioning Engineer. You will be part of the Alstom team in Copenhagen and responsible to prepare and execute preparation and testing activities in support to one or several Bids/Projects and/or Programs.

The position is located in Copenhagen but work on other locations in particular the railway line between Roskilde and Naestved and included stations may often occur. Other location can be agreed according to planning and subjected to Alstom Travel Policy. You will report to the Alstom Trackside Test & Commissioning Manager.

Responsibilities

Within this role you will take part in several activities, such as:

·  test preparation with documentation
·  retrofit activities on installed HW and SW
·  test execution with test logs management
·  preliminary analysis and reporting

post-test execution activities (fault management and reporting) and also participate in trainings

You will also be responsible to respect the applicable safety regulations that will be provided to you before the start of site activities. In addition, you will be in charge of initiatives for technologies of railway signaling under the direction of the Test & Commissioning Manager and in conformance with transport policies and standards, applicable regulations and professional standards (including EHS). All activities should be performed with quality, cost and delivery in mind.

Your profile

Educational Requirements

·  Bachelor / Master Degree within engineering or relevant experience on railway Test and Commissioning activities

Technical Skills/Competencies/Experience

·  Technical Skills on electric/electronic in particular on railway will provide additional value to the candidate
·  Good knowledge of MS Office
·  Very good knowledge in English, both in written and speaking
·  Knowledge of the Danish language
