Job Title: Test and Commissioning Engineer VIE
Job Purpose Summary:
The Test and Commissioning Engineering VIE will provide support during the testing and commissioning phase of the Ottawa Light Rail Vehicle project.
Specific Responsibilities of the Role:
- Support the execution of electrical, static, and dynamic tests
- Support the development and update of test procedures
- Maintain and update the automated testing tool AutoFIE. Ensure AutoFIE is available, functional, and up-to-date when needed
- Lias with the engineering in France to diagnose issues during testing to ensure test progression
Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering related to the rail industry
- At least 1 year experience in a Testing Engineer VIE role for Light Rail Vehicles
- Familiarity with the Alstom Citadis Spirit Dualis product range.
- Fluency (written, oral) in English and French
