Sr. PROCUREMENT EXPEDITOR

Purpose of the Job

Expedites and facilitates the flow of materials to and from the various departments at a job site. He also makes sure that the right materials arrive at the site at the right time. He inspects goods upon delivery to ensure the level of quality and quantity, and to ensure adherence to specifications.

Mission

Responsibilities

·  Follow up the execution of the order to meet with the milestones and delivery expected.
·  Follow up delivery claims and mitigate performance delays with the suppliers. Define and monitor action plan when needed in coordination with Sourcing and Quality
·  Ensure suppliers are paid on timely manner.
·  Participate to daily operations meeting for collecting procurement issues
·  Ensure good communication to supplier

Candidate Requirements

Educational Requirements

Degree in Supply Chain or Engineering or Business management.

Desired Knowledge / Experience

·  Experience in procurement management
·  Fluent English

Behavioural Skills / Competencies

·  Use Business Indicators
·  Adhere with HSE & ALSTOM Code of Conduct.
·  Procurement tactics, ERP (SAP/SUN SYSTEM)
·  Use Technical and Industry Experience
