Skilled in SCADA design /Architecture

•Understands SCADA development lifecycle

•Ability to interpret the customer requirements

•Hands on experience in various SCADA platforms i.e Intellution Ifix, Wonderware

•Hands on field experience in hardware (RTU’s,PLC’s,Controller’s,IED’s)

•Knowledgeable on Industrial communication protocols

•Generate reports using various scripting tools

•Design the Mimic, symbols and graphics as per applicable standards.

•Write the script and code modules for HMI using Visual Basic(VB)/.Net

•Data preparation using XML for HMI configuration

•Writing as built and operational manuals.

Knowledgeable in Application development 

•Development of logic & control sequences for the Hardware

•Build & delivery management

•Participation in peer review for defect analysis

•Adherence to Alstom process & Quality

•Code review, configuration management, version management.

 As a design engineer

•Achieve technical collaboration at project level

•Understand the interfaces with other subsystems

•Ability to coach & guide team members on Application Engineering&Validation

•Work Package Management

•Responsible for deliveries as per Quality, Cost & delivery targets

•Closely work with stakeholders local/Abroad

•Team player

Technical Skills

o          Installation, testing & commissioning of RTU’s

o          Knowledgeable in coding RTU standards i.e IEC101/104, DNP3

o          Commissioning of SCADA system’s. (Railways/Metro application is a plus)

o          Hands on experience in sub-station automation is a plus

o          Knowledgeable on Mimic/HMI design, ergonomics study

o          Strong knowledge in Programming interfaces i.e VBA\.Net

o          Knowledge to create symbols, mimics and its related VBA events.

o          Strong Knowledge in mathematical expressions, and logical equations.

o          Good knowledge in OPC Architecture.

o          Good knowledge in XML, Database i.e SQL

o          Good knowledge of Defect Management and Configuration Management. Hands on experience on defect & configuration management tools.

o          Building design documentation like HMI Specification, Interface descriptions

o          Railways/Signalling domain experience is a definite plus

Responsibilities: To understand the design and develop SCADA application as per codes & standards. Team Management. Support commissioning teams in field installations as required. Achieve targets as per Alstom QCD
