Job Title

PSD installation Supervisor

Purpose of the Job

Under the responsibility of the PSD Project Manager, the PSD installation Supervisor is responsible for the following of PSD construction activities and associated interfaces with the other partners (Civil works, power, track, …) and implementation of the construction documentation for the PSD activities. His activity includes the Installation control and Civil Work inspections on Site.

Job Scope

Objectives

·  Follow the interfaces Civil Works, Power, track,  with PSD requirements
·  Check and validate the handover CW -> PSD or TJV -> PSD (before PSD activities)
·  Report and record PSD construction activities to PSD Project manager
·  Follow the application of PSD construction documentation
·  Participate of Handover PSD -> client (for each step of activity)
·  Follow the closure of No conformities / reservations during the installation and T&C phase

Measurement

·  Systematic report of all PSD construction issues and construction progress compared to the objective fixed with the PSD project manager

Responsibility

·  Apply the PSD requirement on site, in line with PSD construction documentation and contract specific requirements, and ensure it is strictly applied
·  Organise and follow the PSD installation controls in coordination with PSD subcontractor
·  Takes part in the handover between PSD and the different entities of Consortium (civil works, Power, track…), and also with the client.

Candidate Requirements

Educational Requirements

Electro-mechanical or Civil work engineer

Desired Knowledge / Experience

·  Quality control experience on construction sites
·  Knowledge of the civil work and railway oriented projects
·  Experience in PSD construction follow-up activities

Behavioural Skills / Competencies

·  Rigorous
·  Autonomous

Technical Skills & Competencies

·  Speaks, reads and writes English
·  Knowledge of Word and Excel.
