Alstom is a worldwide supplier of complete railway signaling solutions, currently working on major contracts in Denmark and Sweden. The Signaling Program in Denmark involves the renewal of 800 trains, including passenger, freight and work trains, with the ERTMS technology, as well as, the development and deployment of the trackside ERTMS level 2 technology. In Sweden, Alstom is implementing a new traffic management system for the entire country in order to improve the punctuality and the capacity of the Swedish railway network. In parallel there is an increasing need to support Tenders in the Nordic countries.

Alstom is looking for an Installation Site Supervisor

In this role you are part of the Alstom Transport team in Copenhagen, Denmark. You prepare and supervise execution of trackside installation activities on site (generally done by a supplier or through Customer / Partner / Third Party) in support to one or several Bids / Projects and /or Programs’ initiatives for technologies of railway signaling. Scheduling staff and directing the installation of services or products according to specifications. This includes inspecting installation sites and testing equipment after installations to ensure proper function. The job location is Copenhagen but mobility is mandatory as most of the work time is on the different working sites.

Your tasks:

·  Ensure that the installation activities/execution is in line with the installation planning.
·  Supervise the execution of the installation activities on field (done by subcontractors) for a defined project, under the lead of the Installation Manager (IM) in strict application of Alstom Transport policies, standards and applicable local regulations and standards to agreed levels of QCD.
·  Responsible to apply the EHS rules and make sure the other workers and subcontractors apply them as well.
·  To be trained in Method Statements, and their application in order to control the end of installation (installation check lists).
·  Responsible to give the status of physical progress (weekly reporting).
·  Monitoring and review of subcontractors and vendors.
·  Ability to meet critical project milestones.
·  Attention to quality and safety is required.

Your profile:

·  Technical Engineering Degree from High School or University (e.g. Electric / Mechanical / Electromechanics)
·  Fluent in English, knowledge of Danish is an asset
·  3-5 years of experience as a supervisor in the railway industry

You are a self-driven, reliable and devoted person with good communication skills both in Danish and English. You have a proactive and flexible attitude and could act as a team leader as well as a team player. It is important that you are resilient, have a sense of urgency and are thorough and precise.
