ETCS Project Engineer

Sydney - North Ryde

Permanent Full Time Position

Due to significant company growth and ongoing project work, we are seeking an enthusiastic Signalling Project Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will initially work on the roll out of the ETCS Signalling System for Sydney Trains, taking responsibility for technical and engineering delivery of the project in terms of cost, quality and schedule as well as liaison with the customer.

Responsibilities for this Role Include:

·  Act as Technical Point of Contact for the customer and all other stakeholders
·  Define and produce Work Packages for the engineering team and monitor progress against project schedule
·  Manage technical interface and installation coordination with partners, subcontractors and internal Testing & Commissioning teams
·  Participate in technical meetings with the customer and stakeholders to maintain continuous communication in the development and implementation of the project
·  Liaise with work-package leaders to evaluate the progress status, to refine delivery milestones, to exchange around existing change request or open points.

Qualifications, Skills and experience Required Includes:

·  Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline (Electrical/Electronics/Computer Systems/Mechanical preferred)
·  Experience within complex and multidisciplinary rail signalling projects with an underpinning knowledge of signalling design and ETCS principles & standards
·  Previous experience working with ETCS onboard equipment is preferred (although not essential)
·  Practical knowledge of the operational requirements of rail signaling construction works (previous experience working within the NSW Rail corridor is an advantage however not essential)
·  Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
