Description of the essential tasks / Objectives:
· Co-ordinate all of the activities needed to prepare the application of a modification (including “red pen”/FAP) on the equipment,
· Define the amount of equipment which needs to be modified “out of sequence”, and as of when the modification will be applied in “serial mode”
· Assure that he “as build configuration” is physically checked on the equipment before ex-works,
· Assure communication with warranty teams on “as build configuration”
· Participate to the CCB (Change and Configuration Board)
· Manage the specific modification status of each equipment
· Co-ordinate with warranty team for modifications which will be applied after ex-works
Educational requirements
· Master Degree applicable to Industrial world, or Equivalent by experience
Desired knowledge / Experience
· Experience of at least 3 years in an industrial environment (railway or other) (not for VIE)
· Basic knowledge of configuration management,
· Good knowledge of project management principles ,
· Working knowledge in Quality, EHS standards and Ergonomics
· UK language (compulsory) , other western-European languages are an advantage (FR, DE, SP, IT,...)
· Experience in working with an ERP (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings,
· Knowledge of MS-office tools mandatory
