Also, Alstom served the Egyptian Railways market through delivering Engineering, Power Supply, Construction, Maintenance and Trainings of Signaling, Centralized Control, and Infrastructure of railway projects such as, Giza-Beni Suef, Beni Suef-Assuit, and Cairo-Alexandria lines.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The role of the ATS Engineer is to assist ATS Team to deliver ATS related sub-systems and to coordinate with the Test & Commissioning Team for other site activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Define, produce and validate all the application data and parameters needed to customize the customer solution, either at System level or at Subsystem level (e.g. IXL, ATC, ICC, N&T, PACIS,…)
·  For IXL (Interlocking), produce Control Tables/Route Tables.
·  Produce  the  typical  engineering  drawings  of  the  execution  design,  which  can  be, depending on the system/subsystem level:
·  Track  insulation  and  bonding  plans  ;  details  of  the  rail  polarity  and  cable arrangement / insulated joint of the track circuit.
·  Principles of cables layout, in station and between the stations.
·  Station equipment location.
·  Support  the  PrEM  in  the  Bill  of  Materials  (BOM)  preparation,  including  equipment codification request (CLAMP) and quantities.
·  Manage  all  documents  from  the  customer  project  to  carry  out  application  engineering studies during all project life.

Qualifications & Skills:

·  3-5 years’ experience (preferable in Metro Projects field)
·  High level of Reporting Skills;
·  Good command of English.

EDUCATION

·  Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering background;

·  Experience in writing reports;
·  Time Management Skills;

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE 

·  Language Skills: Good command of English; Reading, Speaking and writing, French is a plus.
·  IT Skills: Minimum Microsoft office and AutoCAD;
·  Egypt – Cairo Based.
