Purpose of the Job

·  Process vendor invoices, Perform AP scanning, Indexing and Helpdesk operations according to Alstom rules, ensure the accuracy and respect lead time defined in SLA

Mission

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Running period:

·  Receive Invoices from Vendors and perform Scanning and Indexing Operations 
·  Answer Internal / External email Queries (Helpdesk Operations)
·  Receive the invoice through DIP tool / Scanned invoice
·  Verify the basic requirements of the Invoice
·  Verify claim against policies and process
·  Positing of invoice, credit note & advance/down payment as per SOP
·  Ensure 3 way / 2 way matching
·  Verify approvals as per delegation of authority
·  Ensure Tax treatment as per requirements in the country
·  Post invoices in supplier ledgers
·  Check for deviations and create RFI/Issue log as required
·  Communicate, follow up reported issues with stakeholders in DIP
·  Comply with internal controls framework and report self-assessment
·  Involve and contribute to AP process improvements from time to time

Candidate Requirements

Educational Requirements

Qualified accountant

Basic to advanced excel skills

Fair communication skills in English

Technical Competencies:  

Above 2 years of proven experience preferably in Multinational Company as AP accountant in a captive Finance shared service or BPO.

·  Good knowledge of AP process from purchase to pay
·  SAP based ERP experience desirable and reasonable end-user Knowledge of SAP/related Finance tools
