Job description

Job Title:                            Technical Operations Administrator

Reporting to:                     Technical Operations Learning and Development Manager

Department:                      Technical Operations

Based:                                Croydon

 

 

Objective of the role       

To provide efficient and pro-active administrative support to the Technical Operations Departments.

 

Hours

35 Hours per week Monday to Friday.  .

 

Main Duties

 

General Administration

 

Technician NatWest expenses

    • Ensuring technician NatWest statements are submitted in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
    • Checking techs have completed NatWest correctly and all receipts are provided
    • Recording all relevant information on central SharePoint spreadsheet
    • Follow up with technicians where errors/irregularities are noted
    • Prepare monthly audit selection for Technician Team Managers to complete

 

 

Technician Uniform

    • Ordering new uniform requested by technicians
    • Ensuring stocked uniform is monitored and accounted for and disposed of when required
    • Liaise with Technical Training Team and provide update on uniform orders for new technicians through the induction process

 

 

Fleet Support

              

  • Renewing road tax
  • Dealing with PCN and traffic offences related queries

 

 

Adhoc duties

    • Hotel Bookings when requested by internal staff
    • Raising PO's for consolidated invoices and notification to Accounts Payable
    • Processing Toll Tag payments
    • Update technician database (new starter and leavers)
    • Logging Agent Network PAS43 and insurance details
    • Recording technician holiday
    • Recording Technician Sickness
    • Dealing with Telephone and email queries efficiently
    • Checking ABS Task list for Technician attachments and assigning to associated RSA case file

 

 

You will also be responsible for the following:

 

Health & Safety

  • To ensure that your work area is kept safe and tidy at all times.

  • To notify the Company Health & Safety officer or the Managing Director of any Health & Safety issues which may cause harm to fellow employees.

 

Training

  • To advise your Manager of any areas of work for which you require any additional training.

  • To work as a member of a team within the quality system and follow all documented quality procedures and instructions.
