Job Purpose/Role
In the team Performance Measurement you are integrated in an expert and project team with a highly diversified range of topics in the field of Performance Measurement and Analytics.
As a Business Analyst (m/f/d) you are responsible for developing approaches, designing applications, creating and optimizing processes in the area of performance analysis, with the focus on holdings based performance attribution and the Wilshire Atlas system we are using there. You are the key contact and act as interface between functional operations, application developers and our clients in asset management. In your daily job you will work on data analysis, on solutions for all kind of issues with data processing, transformation and internal control mechanism to improve data quality. You work together with various departments to support and act as a consultant to the colleagues concerning the feasibility of their data requirements.

Key Responsibilities
· Responsible for the functional side of the holdings based performance attribution system Wilshire Atlas and the landscape of tools built around it (for data transfers, configuration and production process control)
· Provide answers to client requests and support the operators of the systems in this regard
· Ensure the data quality of the deliveries created from the performance attribution systems and enable the operators of the system in this regard
· Drive the further development of the systems
· Enhance existing performance models and all related reporting processes (with focus on Equity analytics)
· Process optimization, focusing on data quality and automation
· Working with fund accounting data, benchmark and market data, instrument classification data
· Support and act as a consultant for colleagues from different departments
· Key member in various internal and external projects
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
· University degree preferably in economics, business administration, business information technology, mathematics, physics and/or an equivalent experience in finance
· Experience in Asset- and Risk Management or banking industry including exposure to financial markets and instruments
· Extensive knowledge of performance analytics, contribution, attribution and ex-post risk analytics
· Several years of professional experience in the area of performance measurement and analysis (e.g. in consulting industry or controlling function)
· Programming skills in VBA, SQL, R and Python is a plus
· A very flexible and proactive approach, combining diplomacy and assertiveness
· Strong analytical and conceptual skills
· High degree of analytical thinking, motivation, autonomy and an above-average willingness to perform
· High responsibility and understanding of data quality and stable operative processes
· Hands-On Mentality
· Fluent in German and English
