About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and solution-oriented Senior Azure Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Terraform and Azure SQL to join our team. You will develop, maintain, and automate infrastructure code at scale within the Azure ecosystem, tackling complex challenges from start to finish to deliver robust and scalable IT solutions.

What you do

Design, build, and optimize scalable and secure Azure cloud platforms tailored to meet evolving business needs and performance goals.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Terraform to automate infrastructure deployment.
Manage and optimize Azure SQL Data Warehouse (DW) / dedicated SQL pool environments to ensure peak performance, availability, and security.
Develop and maintain T-SQL scripts, including stored procedures, functions, and queries, supporting diverse business requirements.
Utilize SQLPackage (dacpac) tools for efficient database deployment and version control.
Review and improve team code to enforce best practices and maximize performance.
Ensure compliance with internal security standards and operational policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy data solutions aligned with business objectives.

What you bring

Solid experience in Azure Synapse, enterprise SQL environments (especially SQL DW / dedicated SQL pool), SQLPackage (dacpac), and Terraform.
Proficiency in scripting with Bash and PowerShell, and strong understanding of JSON and YAML formats.
Familiarity with Python, networking, security hardening, version control (Git), Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Azure Data Factory is a plus.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
Strong analytical skills, problem-solving mindset, and excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
