About the Job
As a skilled and experienced Security Architect, you design, implement, and maintain robust security systems and frameworks to protect the organization's IT applications, data, and systems.
You play a pivotal role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company assets by aligning security solutions with business objectives.
What you do
- Develop and implement security architecture strategies to address current and emerging security risks.
- Ensure security practices align with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with IT SecOps and Security Champions to conduct threat modeling and identify mitigations to reduce risks.
- Assist the Software Architecture role in designing and implementing security patterns for both existing and new software systems (Blueprints).
- Lead security transformation projects and participate in major migrations or initiatives from a security perspective.
- Provide 2nd- level security support to API Governance & Events, Quality Assurance, and IT Support teams
What you bring
- Solid knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and a good understanding of strategic IT solutions
- Strong analytical thinking, along with methodological, conceptual, consulting, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously
- Deep understanding of secure software development practices and DevSecOps methodologies
- Proven experience with Java and the Spring framework, as well as a strong understanding of API and mobile security
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure), containerization (Kubernetes), and working with agile methodologies
- Proficiency in documenting processes, workflows, and project details to ensure clarity and consistency, with a background in software engineering; fluent in Spanish & English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Proven experience of 2+ years as a Security Architect
