Resilience Expert (m/f/d) to support Group Protection & Resilience

Job description

The Protection and Resilience team is committed to ensuring that Allianz Group is able to withstand and recover from disruptions to its business operations. We are looking for a Resilience Expert with strong project management skills and a profound background in assessing and analyzing complex and multi-faceted incidents. If you are ready to take on responsibility for the effective implementation and coordination of key aspects of the Group’s Protection & Resilience Framework and be part of the team that prepares Allianz to withstand business disruptions and manages incidents and crises, take up the challenge.

 

You will

·  As an Resilience Expert, you provide cross-functional assessments of IT and non IT incidents, ensuring relevant stakeholder involvement,  and a coordinated, unified and consistent approach in assessing and coordinating an incident
·  Support the coordination of third party incidents, where required;
·  Actively foster sharing and exchange of information on incident management within the Group, including conducting awareness activities and trainings;   
·  Monitor and produce stakeholder-centric reports of incidents, including relevant data aggregation and visualization;
·  Actively support DORA implementation to reach an integrated incident management approach;
·  Perform threat intelligence including assessments on Allianz’s business and operational impact;
·  Together with our crisis management experts, you enhance, shape and support Crisis Management implementation and crisis management exercises;
·  Support the OEs to improve their crisis readiness and maturity via their local crisis management programs, crisis management community fostering and best practice sharing across the Allianz Group;
·  Participate in international projects related to Protection & Resilience;
·  Support systematic monitoring during OE review and self-assessment tasks;
·  Working within and supporting the Allianz Group Crisis Unit during a crisis event;
·  Collaborate with other Group centers, OEs and AZ Technology
·  Act as back-up for other Protection & Resilience experts to mitigate key person risk.

 

Your skills

Qualifications:

·  Relevant University degree or equivalent qualification through work experience
·  Knowledge of relevant internationals standards, certifications are welcome
·  Sound MS Office skills
·  Fluent English skills (written and spoken) are mandatory and additional language skills are welcome

 

Experience & Key Skills:

·  Profound experience in IT with the ability to interpret and transform IT aspects into business impact;
·  At least 3 years of working/consulting experience in the fields of IT or in an IT-related role, with business analysis or strategy development responsibility.

·  Reliable, highly committed, precise working and independent thinking  w
·  Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to analyze threats and incidents and determine the associated business impact.
·  Capability to build collaborative working relationships and ability to work in virtual, international and complex team environments;
·  Strong communicator who is comfortable presenting and facilitating trainings in front of an audience.
·  Ability to work self-responsible and autonomously, also at times of high pressure
·  Some international travel will be required.
·  Willingness to participate in the incident monitoring process, also beyond the usual working hours (i.e. team effort for weekend monitoring rotation)
