Resilience and Data Privacy Officer in GCC Bucharest

What you do

·  Manage and respond to data subject requests regarding their rights under data protection laws, such as access, rectification, and erasure of personal data.
·  Coordinate the reporting of Personal Data Breaches, ensuring timely reporting to authorities and affected individuals.
·  Describe, assess and record processing activities via Privacy Impact Assessments in OneTrust, while also performing annual reviews. 
·  Provide training and guidance to employees on data protection best practices and compliance requirements.
·  Act as the liaison between business functions and AZ Trade NEUR/Group to ensure that any updates or new requests within the Data Privacy Framework are implemented at the local level.
·  Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans to ensure the organization can respond effectively to disruptions.
·  Coordinate regular testing and exercises of business continuity plans to ensure effectiveness and employees readiness.
·  Support the implementation of Group Incident management process (under definition with DORA) including local specificities/regulatory needs
·  Prepare and present regular reports for quarterly security committee meetings 

Functional knowledge:

·  Proven experience as a Data Privacy Officer or similar role, with a strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations.
·  Experience in business continuity planning and crisis management.
·  Knowledge of One Trust, JMP tools would be a plus
·  Language: Excellent English level required with any additional language as an added value

Business expertise: 

·  Business knowledge in insurance / credit  insurance / Operations is preferrable
·  2 years experience as a Data Protection Officer
·  Relevant GDPR certifications such as CDPO would be a plus

·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·  Ability to react swiftly to changes and adjust strategies and actions
