The Role
Safely, effectively and efficiently manage the facilities operations of leased office portfolio with 3-6 offices (dependent on the region) and provide support to the National Facilities Manager.
You'll be responsible for:
· Managing the overall performance of the regional facility management operations, including but not limited to maintenance services, minor tenancy refurbishments, relocations, environmental and sustainability programs, WHS, and business risk and continuity management strategies.
· Contributing to the strategic framework for the delivery of facility management and a new service delivery model, supporting the planning and implementation of facilities management services for new and changing business requirements.
· Contributing to and implementing agreed performance goals, standards, and measures to inform facility-focused capital and operations, as well as FTE asset management.
· Identifying, managing, and escalating risks associated with regional facility management operations, programs, and assets, ensuring performance and mitigation where practicable.
· Ensuring that all Facility Management maintenance and service requests are resolved efficiently and in accordance with established service level agreements, maintaining a high degree of communication and professionalism throughout.
· Leading and overseeing a team of Mailroom and/or Concierge professionals, of between 2 and 7 people.
About you:
· Experience and knowledge of contemporary facilities management practices, facilities operations, contract management, health, and safety practices in the workplace, and associated corporate communications.
· Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with staff, clients, intermediaries, and service providers.
· Demonstrated evidence of successfully leading and delivering projects within time, budget, and resource constraints, achieving sustainable outcomes, with experience in the development and management of project budgets, cost modelling, and in assessing and managing contracts for work.
· Experience performing vendor management duties, including performance management.
· Willingness and ability to attend work outside of office hours to support maintenance activities that cannot be conducted during normal business hours.
