Job role
 

The Procurement Expert leads negotiations for IT & NON IT categories, including but not limited to IT (Hardware, Software), Business Services, Insurance Goods and Professional Services to secure advantageous terms and conditions. He / she develops and coordinates commercial negotiations with suppliers that are supportive and aligned with business objectives while striving to build long term and reliable partnerships.

 

What you will do
 

·  Negotiate quotes and contracts with suppliers coordinating support from Legal, TPRM, Compliance, Finance and Business Units to execute purchases.  
·  Manage key suppliers through Supplier Relationship Management practices such as contract management, scorecards, business reviews and other methods required to ensure the company’s best interests are served. 
·  Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders, cross-functional colleagues and suppliers.
·  Reviews purchase requisition & purchase order claims along with contracts in compliance of company policy. 
·  Identifies and discusses defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiates refunds or the respective resolving.
·  Makes recommendations for improvements of the procurement processes, leads and drives respective projects towards completion achieving optimal SLA.
·  Engage with internal customers, be successful in one-to-one communication as well as in group settings to make a positive impact, ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
·  Drive improvement initiatives in Quality, Reporting, Cost Reduction, Procedures, Supplier Audits. 
·  Ensure Vendor Integrity Screening in line with Allianz Technology Global Procurement Standards. 
·  Support Global Procurement initiatives, coordinate and execute sourcing plans in alignment with the strategic vision of Allianz Technology and local business needs.

     

 

What you bring

·  Higher education degree in a technical or business field or comparable discipline
·  Relevant work experience in a procurement role, minimum 2 years
·  Process and project management training and / or certification desirable
·  Job-related international experience
·  Familiar with the presentation techniques and an experienced communicator
·  English: fluent in spoken and written (Spanish would be a plus).
·  Legal knowledge and contracting experience.
·  Knowledge of SAP, ARIBA, MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point)
·  Ability to understand and analyze legal documents.
·  Negotiation skills and understanding of local and global commercial aspects.

·   Knowledge and understanding of relevant contracts, agreements and suppliers.
·   Engagement and collaboration skills with understanding of organization and process-related customer requirements.
·   Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and customers both written and verbal.

·   Has good knowledge and some practical experiences of processes, procedures and concepts within own discipline and understands them within context.
