Chapter Lead Role
A chapter lead is a responsible for continuously developing the skills and professionals of their chapter members. Chapter Leads help build the profession of their Chapter members working in Agile Squads and enable these with the skills and tools needed to build the most robust solution. For this role in People & Culture Platforms team, the incumbent is expected to have relevant understanding of SuccessFactors HR modules and transformation.
You will
- Act as role models for Agile with the aim of inspiring, training, and encouraging Chapter members to use Agile working practices to undergo personal further development and to express their own ideas.
- Balance their Squad and line duties. In addition, they are responsible for developing skills within the Chapter, designing, and enforcing standards of their profession, and building capabilities through knowledge sharing.
- Works closely with capacity planning, utilization and forecast with TPO and Scrum Masters.
- Be responsible to drive people process of P&C platforms function in-line with financial targets of the function and contribute towards overall productivity and delivery efficiency.
- They serve their people and their Areas, Agile Tribes and the Agile Squads to foster a learning organization and make people awesome.
- Be responsible for the further development of the competencies and soft skills of respective team members (referred as squad members).
- Works in tandem with Technical Product Owners and Scrum Masters to understand the short and long term resource planning and skill landscape strategy to ensure fine balance of right skills at right level is maintained across the chapter(s).
- Focuses on right upskilling, cross-skilling and personal development plan of each chapter member.
- Joins hands to drive overall people engagement in the chapter and overall P&C Platforms function in India and globally.
- Responsible to handle grievances or concerns arising from squad members and meet effective resolution.
- Actively drive agile transformation and foster end-to-end ownership mindset within the function.
- Responsible for housekeeping (e.g., Budgeting, external management, access management, timecards) according to local regulations
- Responsible to maintain a safe and inclusive environment where chapter members have freedom and safety to innovate, experiment and learn from failure.
Your skills
- You enjoy working with people - individually and in groups and are solution-oriented, proactive, independent, structured and reflective. You communicate clearly, can adapt flexibly to a counterpart and are enthusiastic about new topics.
- You have an agile mindset, live agile leadership (servant leadership) and agile methods.
- You will quickly build an understanding of the content in order to address the concerns of the tribes and employees of your chapter. You move confidently in a complex environment and recognize (economic) connections in your decisions.
- You deal successfully with external service providers or are ready to learn the ropes.
- Advantageous: You have already gained experience in people management in the past (e.g., technical or disciplinary, #lead or similar leadership training)
- Had adequate knowledge of HR systems and its related IT landscape.
- Work Experience with SuccessFactors suite and HR IT solutions preferably in REC/Onboarding, PM, Comp-VP, RBP etc.
- Having work experience of people management and is a must and experience in Agile transformation or equivalent would be an added advantage.
- Degree or equivalent professional experience
- Basic knowledge or experience with AI tools will be beneficial.
