Department Description & Job Purpose
The intern position is aimed towards legal and business professionals interested in developing a career in the field of compliance and regulatory consulting. Interns support consultants in project-based challenges to respond to Allianz internal clients. The position is based in Munich, Germany.
Key responsibilities
· Support project-based work required by Allianz internal customers in the fields of Compliance and Regulatory.
· Support research and coordination activities aimed to solve our client’s Compliance and Regulatory requirements.
· Taking care of project-related tasks, including all project deadlines and deliverables in the context of customer and stakeholder management.
· Analysis and implementation of upcoming compliance legislation across different Allianz entities around the world.
Key requirements
· Enrollment in a University, or in a gap year
· University degree in business, economics, law, or information technology. Other related university degrees may apply.
· Masters’ degree in a relevant field is desirable.
· No prior job experience is required for this position.
· English (C1) & German (B2) proficiency. Additional languages are a plus.
· Good MS Office proficiency (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
· Sound understanding of general legal and business concepts.
· Strong team player attitude with high assertiveness and ability to work under pressure.
· Proactive and entrepreneurial spirit.
· You can start in January/February and are interested in an internship for 4 to 6 months in full-time (38h/week)
Desired certifications and experience
· Compliance certifications (ECCP, ICA, ISO/IEC 27001, Sustainable Investment Certification, SCCE, ISB, ESG Analyst)
· Project Management Certifications (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
· Experience with GRC tools (e.g. OneTrust)
· Experience and knowledge of insurance/financial industry.
· Experience working in international environments.
