The Impact You Will Have
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Relationships in Allianz Commercial N.A., you will join the team as Portfolio Solutions Leader, N.A. This role is in charge of the N.A. strategy, execution & sourcing for Portfolio Solutions business, including but not limited to the Wholesale market and alternative distribution via delegated authority business, MGU, MGA, Panels, Facilities and Programs.
We are looking for someone to optimize our strategy and market presence in this space, leveraging top line growth whilst maintaining sustainable operating profit. Portfolio performance in this area is key to the growth and success of Allianz Commercial N.A.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
· Leading the engagement with N.A. distribution partners to deliver the Portfolio Solutions proposition, identifying growth opportunities and providing best-in-class service to existing customers.
· Creating a comprehensive strategy for driving wholesale and alternative distribution solutions across Allianz Commercial N.A., focusing on performance monitoring tools and portfolio steering models
· Developing and monitoring profitability views to ensure consistency in approaches and promptly flagging any changes or impediments using portfolio analytics.
· Reporting and presenting business strategy to internal and external stakeholders to ensure progress against agreed financial targets.
· Collaborating with N.A. Product Leadership, Chief Underwriting Officers (CUOs), and other business owners from respective lines to analyze profitability, drive performance, and support Underwriting actions.
· Ensuring alignment with Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) Fronting capabilities concerning gross line, net line, and wholly owned cell captive fronting, while maintaining high governance and adherence standards
What You’ll Bring to the Role
· Significant experience in wholesale, delegated authority / portfolio solutions in N.A., focused on performance steering and contract management.
· Strong customer-centricity ethos, experienced sales and marketing execution in wholesale and alternative distribution segments.
· Ability to work in a complex organization and demonstrate outstanding inter-cultural skills.
· Outstanding communication, presentation, and quality management skills, to steer projects in the right direction and manage a team effectively.
· Expert in Underwriting and Policy Management, with an extensive knowledge in portfolio steering
· Ability to build connections with other Allianz functions
The annualized base pay range for this role is $139,692 - $239,408. The annual base salary range represents nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
