Job description
The candidate will be required to give support to the Reinsurance Technical Area team, with a focus on Catastrophic Risk Management, within all existing and emerging activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Scope:
· Data processing, data extraction and analysis
· Analysis processing by stochastic models
· Activities inherent to Cat Management and support on dedicated and related projects
· Activities inherent to Reinsurance in the various activities related to it
· Managing various reports internally and to external stakeholders
· Within the scope of its activities, compliance with applicable regulations, governance rules and guidelines set by the Group in the relevant area
· Ensure consistency and compliance with imposed deadlines
· Interface with other business functions on business or regulatory issues
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
· Master's degree in Statistics/ Mathematics/Actuarial Sciences/Physics/Computer Engineering, Economics, Data Science
· Excellent analytical and synthesis skills
· Ability to independently manage assigned activities
· Be proactive in constantly improving tools and approaches to be market leading
· Team spirit, ability to interact in a global work environment with people from different countries and cultures; openness to confrontation, determination and proactive and committed work style.
· Ability to communicate in a structured, clear and constructive manner.
· Availabity to occasional travels
· Knowledge of the insurance and reinsurance will be a plus
· Balance sheet and accounting knowledge recommended will be a plus
· Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken)
· Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Basic expertise in coding with SAS, Python, R or SQL
