Job description
JOB PURPOSE/ROLE
The Technical Solution Architect (TSA) manages the functional and non-functional specifications, including detailed analysis of technical components. The TSA is also responsible for consideration of Allianz Group requirements, alignment with Enterprise Architecture and security/compliant guidelines. The Integration of FFIC applications and processes into AGCS' application landscape represents a future challenge.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition the position includes the following responsibilities:
Analyze the business requirements and processes within AGCS to support the development of functional and technical specifications, including IT infrastructure for business applications, interfaces and infrastructure
Coordinate software development and design scope for AGCS Global IT projects
Continuously share best practices and approach across teams, offering support when required
Cooperate with other AGCS delivery teams (IT, OBT, FinSol) to ensure interoperability of solutions
Jointly responsible to ensure no losses to business functions or transaction processing due to the non-availability or poor performance of systems and applications
Proactively conduct ad-hoc as well as regular analysis on IT systems, documentation, processes, data etc. as required
Develop concepts and solutions for critical applications/systems etc.
Take part in global project teams as required
Report to IT management on results
Develop and positively influence key, strategic position stakeholders across locations and functions
Monitor realization of concepts and act as escalation instance
Manage the work stream delivery of 3rd party service providers
Conduct analysis on whether IT policies/standards are being followed, follow up and apply in cases where necessary
Implement Group initiatives, standards, policies and evolve the services provided
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management or equivalent combination of education and experience
Professional IT qualifications (e.g. ITIL, OpEx)
Experience
Minimum 3 to 5 years IT Professional experience (ideally financial services sector)
Experience in managing projects/tasks in a global environment
Technical experience in relevant platforms and technologies of AGCS IT Global Target Architecture
International work experience/worked abroad
Technical Skills
Deep knowledge of the Thunderhead platform and its capabilities
Knowledge of PEGA and RedHat Fuse ESB components are required
Technical skills, e.g. XML, Java, Services
Data Security
General Skills
Fluent in English, German beneficial
Ability to develop, implement and communicate technical decisions, functional and non-functional requirements
Experienced in peer review processes for software design and development
Expresses ideas confidently and messages clearly, both written and verbally
International, multi-cultural business acumen
