Following the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape, Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI) is continuing to invest in our Information Security capabilities. As part of this, we are looking for you to support our Security capability in this complex but exciting environment.
You will be part of our global Information Security team and reporting to the Head of Information Security, you will be responsible for regional and global processes and contribute to the maturing of our Security organization with a focus on Security Governance.
This position will be based in our Frankfurt office.
What you will do
- Support the continuous development and improvement of our global information security programme (including frameworks, processes, and tool sets) with a focus on security governance
- Prepare and moderate Governance forums and status meetings
- Identification and management of security architecture risks, particularly covering infrastructure and application requests
- Provide guidance and support to key stakeholders on security architecture, standards, and best practices as part of the operational processes as well as in strategic projects and initiatives
- Drive and contribute to security governance and oversight activities, having modern and future-proof collaboration models in mind
- Work closely with a distributed team of Information Security, IAM and Cybersecurity professionals across Asia and Europe
What you bring
- Deep expertise and proven experience in Information Security Management, including frameworks, regulations and security architecture
- Hands-on experience in developing solutions, such as actionable guidelines and operating procedures on the basis of best-practices, business needs and regulatory requirements
- Experience in the identification of security risks as well as threat modelling based on internationally recognized frameworks, including the advisory on possible mitigating and controlling measures and architectures
- Proven track record in working with diverse and distributed global teams, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills (communicating and reporting sophisticated technical concepts to business and risk partners)
- Experience interacting directly with senior partners (C-Suite, Board and Regulators)
- Experience in managing and improving Security Governance processes
- Specific industry qualifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA)
- 3-7 years of professional experience in information security/cybersecurity
- Experience balancing multiple concurrent projects and priorities communicating and committing to realistic deadlines, showcasing a structured way of working
- Proficiency in English both written and spoken is a must, German preferred and additional language skills are a plus
