The role

Steering of the Group Credit Underwriting Strategy across the Group within the assigned Region (Asia Pacific)

 

What you do

 

·  Steering of Group Credit Underwriting strategy as well as discussing and developing Regional strategy for the assigned Regions/Lines of Business in line with the overall goals of the Allianz Trade Group
·  Provide support to Regions and BU's in various risk related aspects including but not limited to portfolio reviews, cross-functional and cross-geographical exchanges, and project management/guidance within the assigned Regions
·  Ensure that the minimum quality standards are applied across the group to secure customer satisfaction and strong risk steering
·  Operational involvement and workflow management of cases requiring Group validation
·  Contribute to various Credit Risk related topics/projects at Group level
·  Support strong cooperation with other Group functions

 

The ideal start date for this position is September 1st, 2024.

What you bring

·  Established experience in risk area business unit Credit Director / Management level.
·  Strong background in Credit Risk and Macroeconomic Risk
·  Strong communication skills
·  Capability to effectively influence others
·  Analytical skills at high level
·  Open-minded to suggest, drive and implement change
·  Fluent level of English - spoken and written
·  Good communication and change management skills
·  Strong analytical skills
·  Ability to work with different cultures world-wide
