This is a Global role, reporting to Global Head of Finance Transformation and CFO Office (GLFM)
What you will do
Design, plan and deliver the Finance Transformation program in the context of ELEVATE to support the company’s strategy and goals for 2028
- Reporting to Global Head of Finance Transformation, you will be responsible in managing the overall transformation portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and timelines to deliver concrete impact (i.e. productivity and quality)
- Lead the preparation of steering committees to enable AZP CFO and CTO to monitor and steer the Finance Transformation
- Furthermore, responsible for dedicated review with CFO and validation by CFO Office, as well as governance forums across all Finance departments (i.e., Finance Factory, Planning & Controlling, Accounting, Actuarial, Risk, Compliance, etc.) ensuring strategic alignment and executive engagement.
- Develops and maintain with CTO robust tracking tools and dashboards to monitor progress, risks, and interdependencies across initiatives. (Close coordination with OM Global Solutions and Data Analytics)
- Ensure consistent reporting, documentation, and communication of project status to Board of management of Allianz Partners
Executes the transformation by providing solid Finance Expertise to while leading Finance teams (e.g., Finance Directors across BUs, Global Head of P&C, other Finance SMEs)
- Bring deep finance knowledge to the transformation program, ensuring initiatives are financially sound, value-accretive, and aligned with target operating model principles.
- Influence strategic finance decisions at the level of the direct reports of CFO (i.e., influence Allianz Senior Executives)
- Design and implement of new finance processes, systems, and organizational structures, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the finance function.
- Collaborate with technology and data teams to pilot and scale digital finance solutions.
- Provide subject matter input on finance performance management, planning & forecasting, reporting, and data governance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Partner with regional and functional finance teams to ensure smooth implementation and adoption of transformation initiatives and fostering collaboration.
Role requirements
Strong background in Finance or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Controlling, or Accounting, ideally with exposure to transformation or change programs.
- Proven experience in program/project management or PMO roles within a global organization (e.g., projects of AZ Partners within multiple countries and multiple LoBs)
- Operational experience in a BU with first management experience already achieved within a global organization (e.g. medium sized teams of experts)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; confident engaging with senior leadership and influencing decision-making.
- Experience working with non-finance population (e.g., business partners), demonstrating diplomacy and the ability to build strong relationships.
- Experience in leading change management efforts, driving engagement and adoption across diverse teams.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is an asset.
- Experience working in a global and cross-functional environment, with the ability to navigate cultural and organizational complexities.
