Job description
Reporting to the Head of Office for the the Group Chief Operations Officer for Allianz Parnters, as Executive Assistance of COO Office, you will support the COO delivering best in class services to our business partners while simultaneously reducing operations costs, complying with regulatory requirements, achieving best in class customer satisfaction values and driving global strategic priorities.
Key responsbilities of the role include driving strategic projects forward, supporting the Head of COO Office on various strategic projects, coordinating with senior leaders inside and outside of the COO area, with other Board member’s offices, with the CEO Office as well as with counterparts at Allianz SE level & other Allianz Operating Entities. Part of your role is ensuring all deliverables and projects are delivered in time and quality to the respective stakeholders leveraging the Operations leadership teams in the COO area.
What you do
Strategy & Project Management
· Oversee, coordinate and contribute to Global office transversal & strategic projects (Project management & documentation; follow up on planning and deliverables, projects prioritization and risk assessment)
· Drive preparation of strategic meetings (e.g. Strategic Dialogue, Planning Dialogue, Audit, Board Meetings, COO Meetings, etc.) for the COO incl. presentations and briefings, qualitative/quantitative analysis
· Manage and coordinate daily business activities and ad-hoc requests and actively participate in projects / initiatives as directed by the COO requiring project management skills and analysis
Governance
· Support governance & communication with all COO related stakeholders (e.g. COO Direct Reports, Regional & local COO leadership, and Global Office teams etc.), with the Transformation Office and with the AP Board 1st line managers and project managers
· Follow-up with senior managers, peers and other functions to ensure completion and accuracy on projects across AZP; communicate and serve as a liaison between group centers and departments on behalf of COO (e.g. Group COO Office, BD, ITCo, Strategy, Finance, Audit, etc.)
· Overside and coordination of Findings (internal/external) incl. frequent reporting and alignment with COO and other structures
Communication
· Prepare all internal and external COO related communication (e.g. intranet, newsletters, articles, blogs)
· Drive Allianz Engagement Survey (AES) and all follow-up measures
What you bring
· Proven experience in a similar position or within areas such as business administration, project management, and/or consulting – including finance experience
· Good understanding of the Insurance and/ or Assistance business – knowledge in insurance operations advantage
· Good interpersonal skills, having a strong ability to establish relationships with all levels across the organization
· Expert skills in MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc)
· You’ll be someone who is extremely structured, have an organized approach towards work strong attention to detail
· Proven experience analysing complex information and drawing appropriate conclusions
· Excellent prioritization skills: Ability to filter information, effective use of own resources and handling of competing priorities under tight deadlines
· Fluent in English including excellent writing skills; good level of French and German would be a plus
