We are looking for a Dual Master’s Student with Steinbeis University in Accounting within Global Insurance & Technical (m/f/d), based in Munich.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

 

·  IFRS, Solvency II, local GAAP and tax-related issue resolution within the insurance area and corresponding accounting/reporting, incl. participation in the closing process, presentations, and preparation of closing relevant data
·  Project work as a representative of GITC
·  Coordination of and collaboration with key stakeholders including from other functions and regions; Support Interface to Group accounting, external auditors, and regulator
·  Continuous improvement of the insurance technical data quality and reconciliations sustainability between systems and ledgers  

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role

 

·  Degree in business, economics, mathematics, or similar
·  Strong IT-related skills, at least MS Office skills (esp. PowerPoint and Excel) and MS Teams
·  Pro-active attitude and ownership, results-oriented thinking, global mindset 
·  Very good organizational skills
·  First experience in Accounting or IT is a plus
·  Excellent writing and verbal Skills in English; Good German and/or French skills are a plus
