We are hiring for Credit Underwriter with strong financial analysis skills to join our team in Dubai. The role reports to Head of Credit Underwriting

 

The role

Ensure most effective credit limit service in term of quality of decision, turnaround time and communication toward customers

 

Main Tasks

·  Decide credit limit requests consistently, within response time included in Risk Business Model
·  by assessing buyer with all information available in IRP and his/her own market knowledge,
·  Monitoring of the risk portfolio,
·  Requesting further information to the info/grading team, according to Information Quality Standards
·  Be responsible of a dedicated customers portfolio, steer it and provide a pro-active service level, according to PH classification
·  by regularly meet customers and broker
·  by organizing telephone conference.
·  Contribute to support Commercial in steering customers loss ratio and implement necessary actions to ensure or restore profitability of portfolio
·  Maintains & develops relationships with Info/Grading Team and MMCD.

 

Skills and Expertise Required

·  Market knowledge:
·  knowledge in dedicated business industries
·  Business expertise:
·  strong business/finance assessment skills
·  in depth knowledge and experience in EH underwriting
·  demonstrate commercial awareness
·  Interpersonal skills:
·  be a good communicator and able to convince about all decisions taken
·  ability to hold visits and contacts, for Senior UW including senior account managers
·  Internal leadership behavior
·  build relationship with other core functions (Credit Analysts, MMCD, Claims...)
·   External leadership behavior
·  act as a trustee risk advisor for customers
·  Arabic speaker with ability to read financials in arabic is a mandatory requirement
