The Country Manager will be the anchor role in leading and managing the Thailand business and operations and the role will be based in Bangkok, Thailand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall Allianz Trade operations in Thailand.
  • Develop and execute annual and long-term business plan and budget for Thailand.
  • Lead local business development activities with key business partners such as brokers, fronters and banks.
  • Represent and promote the trade credit insurance business in Thailand and generate business opportunities into growth and profitability.
  • Maintain effective and productive relationships with key external (e.g. regulator and industry bodies) and internal (e.g. regional office / other business units in Allianz) stakeholders
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities by effectively managing, engaging, and developing the local sales and risk team to resolve challenges.
  • Ability to resolve issues through collaborative problem solving.

 Job Requirements:

  • Solid experience in B2B sales and marketing from financial services industries. Direct experience in trade credit insurance a plus.
  • Strong track record of building sustainable and profitable business through managing a sales team.
  • Ability to build extensive local network.
  • Strategic insights of country and industry knowledge.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Meeting local insurance regulatory requirement.
