We are looking for a Claims Adjuster Natural Resources, based in London.

The Impact You Will Have  

Based in London and reporting to the Head of Property, Entertainment, Natural Resources & Construction Claims, you will work on Natural Resources & Construction Claims including Inherent Defects Insurance (IDI). You will drive excellence in the claims handling service provided to brokers, clients and internal customers. 

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

· 
Resolve Natural Resources & Construction claims, ensuring cost effective, service-oriented solutions.

· 
Actively evaluate & address coverage issues and determine appropriate reserving levels. 

· 
Input and maintain accurate claims records (e.g. reserves, payments). 

· 
Process standard indemnity and expense payments. 

· 
Contribute to market meetings, representing Allianz Commercial in the industry. 

· 
Produce management information reports (e.g. monthly major claims movements). 

· 
Prepare referral documentation and materials as appropriate.

· 
Report loss information internally and externally. 

· 
Work with other functional areas in Claims handling process. 

· 
Actively review late/non-payment of premium and support credit control process with Underwriting /Accounts. 

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

· 
Be keen to learn from the technical experts within the team and progress a career in complex claims handling. 

· 
Have a basic understanding of Natural Resources & Construction Insurance and reserving principles. 

· 
Be proficient with Microsoft Office and used to learning new systems. 

· 
Be able to use data in order to provide meaningful analytics.

· 
Have excellent communication skills, able to create and maintain solid relationships at every level within the organization. 

· 
Prior experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable.

· 
CII qualifications, or progress towards them is beneficial.

· 
Applications welcome for candidates with less experience who have an engineering or law degree looking for a first job with excellent opportunities to learn from others and be in the center of the market. 

· 
A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential
