About the Job
As a Chapter Lead in the Workplace Area with a focus on Product Ownership, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering workplace solutions that enhance productivity and collaboration across Allianz Technology.
You will lead a team of product owners, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving the development of innovative workplace products.
What you do
- Lead and inspire a team of product owners, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Mentor team members, develop their skills, and ensure they are equipped to meet current and future challenges. Plan and manage human resources, including recruitment, holiday scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Drive the vision and roadmap for product development, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business goals. Define and prioritize the product backlog, clearly articulating requirements and addressing stakeholder needs.
- Drive innovation in workplace solutions by exploring new technologies and methodologies. Incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to enhance functionality, usability, and compliance features, while implementing best practices in product management.
- Implement agile methodologies to enhance product delivery and team collaboration. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, ensure backlog transparency, and empower the team to deliver high-quality product increments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, design processes to mitigate operational risks, and maintain audit readiness. Develop scalable global service blueprints for document management to ensure consistency across Allianz entities.
- Establish metrics to measure product success and impact, regularly review performance, and make data-driven decisions. Oversee documentation, process validation, and reporting to ensure efficient service delivery and continuous optimization.
- Improve operational systems, processes, and policies to support organizational goals. Conduct quality assurance reviews, monitor project reporting and deliverables, and proactively escalate risks and issues to senior management for resolution.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) and have a background in IT, business administration, or equivalent education, with at least 2+ years as an Allianz employee (1+ year of team coordination/leadership experience is an advantage).
- Proven experience in product management, particularly in workplace solutions or related areas, with expertise as a Product Owner or similar role in an agile environment, including experience with agile methodologies, tools and international projects or offshore cooperation.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing, mentoring and developing teams, fostering collaboration, and applying coaching, facilitation, conflict management and team-building techniques to build a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across global teams, with the ability to persuade, follow up and coordinate with stakeholders at all levels in a complex environment, while maintaining a customer-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical, conceptual and critical thinking skills to design scalable processes, solve problems and apply methodological approaches, with a focus on strategic thinking and tactical execution to achieve business goals.
- Deep understanding of compliance frameworks, data governance requirements with the ability to ensure regulatory adherence, combined with strong organizational, planning, structuring and quality assurance skills to deliver accurate and reliable results.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead teams in a fast-paced environment, with pronounced commitment, flexibility, assertiveness, initiative and negotiation skills, whilst ensuring effective communication and collaboration thanks to your English fluency.
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
